If one more Euro-trash wannabe tries to step to me with his automotive "knowledge", I'm gonna flip. Just because you own some German POS money-pit doesn't make you any better than me. And it certainly doesn't make your car any better than mine.

Believe it or not, my comment was not aimed at anyone on Oppo. Unfortunately, being car guys, we all know people like this in real life.

Oh I know. I was just making fun of the people you are complaining about. No way in hell I'd own one of these.

I am Eurotrash. And I have a German POS, although I don't consider anything short of a V12 to be a proper money pit. None of those things make me better than you. I'm just better than you because I was born better and have been ever since.

But you're right, you probably have a better car.

Hey man, I'm not saying that I'm a better car guy because I have a Japanese car. But every Tom, Dick, and Harry who has a BMW or Mercedes thinks they're a "real car guy" just because theirs' cost more.

I'm actually kind of a fan of the 318ti lol. But I know that buying one wouldn't make me any more of a "real car guy".

I know I know, I'm just trollin' a bit. It happened with some rotary owners that I encountered too. There's clueless dicks everywhere.

When I saw your name I actually was thinking about the enigma that is the rotary owner. You're a member of a very exclusive club, but you still drive a Mazda. And I don't mean that in a derogatory way, but they're extremely common, like a 99 percenters car. But it has very European like reliability lol.

Hahahaha but seriously, if Mazdas had a better protection against rust, they would be great cars IMO. I love my Miata and my 3 (I didn't drive the rx7 enough to say that I love it) and if the chassis wasn't prone to rust that easily, they would had been perfect cars.

My buddy's got a MS3. It's a hell of a car. Makes me doubt my dedication to the blower-less way of life.

Hahaha and that almost subbie sound. If it was awd, I would totally give it go...but insurance would kill me and I'm still...immature at the wheel, which is why I stay with my Miata. I never got a ticket in my Miata.

From what I hear it is fairly hard to speed in a Miata lol but I know what you mean. My 200hp Si has almost gotten me into trouble a couple of times.

It's a odd car. You feel really fast at starts but you realise you don't go that fast when you look at the speedo. You can keep your foot down without fear and the gears uses the engine efficiently. It's a completely different thrill, it makes me feel like when drifters used turbo cars, while I choosed a properly setuped non-turbo xrg in Live For Speed. I just had to floor it. Not that I don't miss power...but it's refreshing to be not scared to put the pedal to the metal because of a surge of power or too much torque.
